Entrepreneurship in the curriculum

Entrepreneurship is another key aim. A growing number of Deltion College students become entrepreneurs during their studies, either in response to a good idea or because they know they excel in a certain area. We do all we can to live up to our aim to encourage entrepreneurship or at least the development of an enterprising attitude among students and employees.

European Business Competence Licence (EBC*L)

Deltion College was one of the first regional training centres (ROCs) in the Netherlands to be certified as an examination centre for the European Business Competence Licence (EBC*L). A European‑accredited quality label for education in the field of entrepreneurship, the EBC*L certifies students as entrepreneurs. Our students can work towards this alongside their standard studies for their senior secondary vocational education (MBO) qualification.

The EBC*L also serves as a starting point for developing the competences necessary to establish a small business. We also hold regular networking meetings for students, employees and companies, providing a platform for participants to meet, share ideas or form alliances.
